MC Author, in some worldly circles known as Matt, carefully balances horror, fantasy, dystopia…basically the darker side of human nature to ensure what is created is relevant, challenging, enriching and most importantly enjoyable to his readers. He wants you to see in his books real people behaving in real ways. He wants you to see yourselves and those you know or could know alongside the familiarity and strangeness of strangers. He revels in your attention, in being the ringmaster to your imagination. Come in, to the circus of his world and the ghost train of his mind.

Having done a fairly bog standard and predictable job of growing from a child into an adult, Matt decided one day to become MC Author by picking up a pen and writing a story on a piece of paper. He did this first to help someone, before realising he had been duped into helping himself via Machiavellian kindness. He’s always considered stories to be the most fascinating thing about humanity. Creating them, whilst not making him fascinating, enables him to try and emulate the fascination he has when reading, all of which he finds fascinating.

Graduating from pen and paper into personal computing…wait is this too much detail? Look, he likes writing stories, loves people reading his stories and loves being able to show the light through writing about the things in the dark.
